To install the games

any version and any language, follow the steps:

• 1.Download the game at the Gendercare Download Section. They are always .zip files.
  
  
• 2.Open and install the game file on your hd, using WinZip, or other sofware.If you do not have the option to open and install, open it and later double click the setup.exe file to install it. Follow the installer instructions.
  
  
• 3. Use the default ways and folders for the installation. Your game will be saved at
  
  C://program files/My Games/
  
  automatically on your hard disk.
  
  
• 4.If you want, put at your desktop a shortcut to the game.
  
  
• 5. It is ready to play.
  
  

To play the game:

• 1.Double click the shortcut at your desktop;
  
  
• 2.The game will open...and show the opening and presentation;
  
  
• 3.Following the instructions click ENTER to start the game...
  
  
• 4.At the start board there you are....as a baby... really no one knows who you are... nor yourself!
  
  
• 5.A first question you need to answer... what is your name... the name mom and daddy gave you?
  
  
• 6.And your age?
  
  
• 7.From now on you may follow your way, through the arrows from your keyboard...the Old one will ask you...who mom and daddy think you are? A boy or a girl? And you will have a boy or a girl body, immediately...and so on...
  
  
• 8.Follow your ways and make your choices... that will write your story and destiny...
  
  

The Fights

• 1.All GID child has enemies...from the inside (Fear,Guilt,Shame)... and from the outside (Losses,Stigma,Social Exclusion)...and will need to fight for life.
  You will be able to kill your enemies by using either the keyboard or mouse.
  Use it to choose "Magic Power" and click "execute". Then choose "Kill All" and "execute".Click on the enemy name... this will kill all enemies but reduce your SMP (special move power) points to 24, which is lesser than what is required (26) to use the magic power again.
  From then on the way to save your life will be to run away from the other enemies... because you will not have enough strenght to fight all of them.
  There are fights only from the 1.1 version on, and to fight no joystick is required.
  
  
• 2. You may also, always... put the selection to run away, and click ENTER. You will run away from the fight and return to the board to continue playing and making your choices;
  
  

The End of the game and how to save the test result and send it to Gendercare.com

• 1.At the end, in the last board, click ENTER. A menu will open, and at the right side, at the middle of the menu, you click the "Save Game" button;
  
  
• 2.A small window will open, and you save your game using your name, for example...
  
  mary_smith.sav
  
  to save the file;
  
  
• 3.You leave the game, clicking the "Back to Windows" button.
  
  
• 4.You will find your saved game at
  
  C:/program files/My Games/Saved
  
  adress on your hard disk. Then you send us your game .sav file.... with comments, etc...to
  
• contact
  
  

***Important!*** Parents and Therapists!

Teach your children to save the game results, using a name like that:

mary_smith1.sav
mary_smith2.sav
etc...
Later you could find the results at

C://program files/MyGames/Saved

in your computer, and send us the results for analysis!
